FlowFit is a digital wellness platform created to help individuals who may not have the budget or access to traditional gym memberships, yet still want to build and maintain a consistent, healthy lifestyle. The goal is to support people in nurturing their inner strength and improving their physical and mental well-being through online fitness classes, guided programs, and motivational tools.
“ Fitness for All. Empower Your Body Everywhere ”
Problems
Many people face challenges maintaining regular fitness habits due to expensive gym memberships, a lack of user-friendly online workout platforms, and struggles with consistency, motivation, and knowing where to start. FlowFit addresses these issues through an easy-to-use mobile app that offers weekly guided workouts, a supportive community, and clear workout paths. The project began with a gym branding identity and website to build trust and later expanded into a mobile app to provide more flexible and accessible fitness support.
Why an App?

- 1. Mobile access to follow workouts on the go
- 2. Daily and weekly workout planning
- 3. Habit-building tools
- 4. Encouragement through feeling and mental wellness.
Research

I conducted a survey to better understand user behavior and preferences. 47% of users want to improve their overall health—not just lose weight or gain muscle. 41% of respondents can only dedicate less than 30 minutes a day to fitness, and 52% are primarily motivated by improved energy and mood. These insights highlight the need for a fitness experience that is quick, energizing, and focused on total well-being.

In addition, 53% of users expressed a desire to train anywhere, showcasing the demand for flexibility. 35% struggle to find time, and 24% don’t know where to start, indicating the need for guided support. While 41% enjoy group challenges, others prefer to train alone. These findings validate the importance of building a flexible, motivational, and community-aware mobile app that adapts to diverse user needs and lifestyles.
Persona
Catherine is a 29-year-old freelance graphic designer who works remotely and often struggles to maintain a consistent fitness routine. She values mental wellness and wants to build a health habit that fits into her flexible but sometimes chaotic daily schedule.

Information Architechture
Using Catherine’s persona as a guide, I moved on to clarify the structure of information needed for the app. By understanding her behavior and key motivations, I created a clear information architecture that prioritizes task flow, such as joining a class, setting weekly goals, and tracking progress. This clarity ensures the app supports ease of use, builds consistency, and aligns with user priorities.

Journey Map
When it comes to user flow, for students, they start by navigating to the "Events" page, where they can browse through available events using filters like date, type, and location. Once they find an event they’re interested in, they can view the details and register by clicking the "Register" button. After registering, they receive a confirmation and a reminder closer to the event date.

What have I completed
This project taught me how to approach a full UX design process from scratch—from designing the logo and establishing brand identity to aligning visual elements with brand values and design principles. Conducting user surveys helped gather accurate, actionable data to identify real user pain points. Based on these insights, I sketched early ideas, streamlined layout decisions, and moved efficiently into high-fidelity wireframes.
FlowFit demonstrates how user-centered design, supported by research-driven insights, can empower users to build and maintain healthy habits through weekly plans and digital motivation. This case study highlights my ability to conduct end-to-end UX projects, from problem discovery to prototyping and solution delivery. It reflects my commitment to creating accessible, functional, and engaging digital experiences that solve real user needs.
